Disputes between Partners and Co-Owners of Land
We advise on partnership law and partnership dissolution. We assist with the resolution of disputes between partners and other co-owners of land in circumstances where there has been a breakdown in trust.
We are contacted where there is disagreement over such matters as rights of occupation, the size of the parties respective shares and interests in the business and its assets and the decision to sell property.
Disputes frequently arise where little or no advice was obtained at the time a partnership was formed and often partnerships are entered into without a clear written agreement being put in place to determine the parties respective shares, their rights and obligations both during and on leaving a partnership or it may be that a previous written agreement was not followed and no longer accurately or fairly reflects the subsequent dealings between the partners.
