Private Rights of Way, Public Footpaths, Highways and Access Land

We have gained extensive experience advising clients in connection with rights of way, both in respect of private rights of access, such as those over footpaths, driveways and private roads, and in respect of public rights over public footpaths and highways.

Some rights are formally documented but many have been established simply through long use over the years. We can advise you whether or not rights actually exist and, if they do, the nature and extent of those rights.

We are often consulted over actual or proposed changes to the use of an existing right of way, particularly when there is an increase in the level of use or where the right is to be used for a different purpose.

We do not charge for an initial consultation and can usually respond to all telephone or e-mail enquiries within 24 hours. Do contact us should you wish to discuss our services further.
